Our main focus is American comics. We regularly buy Marvel and DC collections, Silver Age and Bronze Age books, complete and near-complete runs, key issues, modern collections, CGC graded comics and substantial mixed collections.

CGC & valuable comics
Graded comics, major keys and higher-value books are welcome alongside the rest of the collection. We are comfortable assessing serious material.
No catalogue required
You don't need to price every comic first.
A rough idea of the quantity, age, main titles and your location is enough to start. Photos of the boxes and a few representative books are extremely useful.
Inherited a collection? You do not need to know anything about comics before contacting us.
Large collection? For substantial or older collections, we can arrange to view the books in person.
Outside Manchester? We buy nationwide and can arrange collection for the right deal.

Selling a comic collection in the UK.
Do you buy complete comic collections?
Yes. Complete collections, large mixed lots, long boxes, runs, keys and graded comics are all of interest.
Do you only buy old comics?
No. Silver and Bronze Age American comics are a major focus, but we also buy modern collections, CGC books and desirable later runs.
Do I need to make a full list?
No. Start with the approximate quantity, era, main titles and some clear photos. We can tell you what information would be useful next.
Do you buy collections outside Manchester?
Yes. Blue Moon Comics buys collections across the UK and can arrange travel or collection where appropriate.
What affects the value of older comics?
Issue, age, condition, completeness, restoration and the overall make-up of the collection can all matter. With substantial older collections, seeing the books properly is often the best approach.
